Founder, Fryday Kyiv
Anders Östlund lives in Kyiv, Ukraine, has been part of seven start-ups in Sweden and Ukraine and is today operating four companies on the Ukrainian market.
Anders Östlund’s entrepreneurial projects include an e-learning platform, a health clinic and a convenience retail chain. In May 2006 Anders co-founded Ticket2.com, an Internet market place for event ticket trading. And, since its launch, Ticket2.com has grown rapidly throughout the Nordic countries and established supplier network over most of Western Europe. In 2007 Internet World listed Anders as one of Sweden’s hottest IT-entrepreneurs.
After having reshaped Ticket2.com in the wake of the financial crisis of 2008, Anders recruited a successor to Ticket2.com and decided to emigrate to Ukraine in 2009 to launch new ventures on the emerging Ukrainian market.
In 2010 Anders founded Fryday Kyiv, a social network that organizes meetings at top venues in Kyiv. In 2011 Anders founded Coffeenar Ukraine, a management-training seminar that organizes workshops and seminars relevant for business owners and management active in Ukraine.
A native Swede, Anders graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics while at the same time being part of the founding team for the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship in 1999.
Seared AB is a Swedish company founded by Anders in 2008. Seared provides intelligence, market research, introductions and set-up services to companies and persons interested in making investments, acquiring clients or finding suppliers in Ukraine.
