Yasemin Denari is a 2012 Stanford GSB graduate and recently worked as an investment professional at Tim Draper's personal seed/early-stage fund, Draper Associates. During her time at the GSB, she was co-president of the Entrepreneur Club, interned at AOL Ventures, and had BD/marketing roles at culinary startup Kitchit and digital rewards startup Hip Digital Media.
Prior to the GSB she was an associate at the San Francisco-based venture capital firm Draper Richards LP, and she collaborated with William H. Draper III on the book The Startup Game: Inside the Partnership between Venture Capitalists and Entrepreneurs, which has been published in the United States, Russia, China, Taiwan, and Brazil. Before this, she worked in international business development and marketing roles for Garanti Bank in Turkey and Romania. She also worked in television production in Los Angeles.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from UCLA in 2005 and has also attended the University of Salamanca in Spain and Bosphorus University in Turkey. She speaks English, Italian, French, Turkish, and Spanish, and she enjoys volunteering with animals and people.
