2018 MYMS

Meet Your Mentor Seminar

One of the concepts behind this event is that start-up teams must find ways in which they can place themselves in the market to make themselves visible to head-hunters. The most important thing for a start-up is to be in strategic locations.

The event will occur on the 16th of June, 2018 as from ten in the morning through to two in the afternoon at the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom. The organizers, Career Nuggets, are working in partnership with the University of Greenwich as they seek to spread invaluable knowledge to people starting out in the industry.

At this event, you will have the opportunity to get information on ways to set yourself apart from the competition. You will also get to forge connections with people who will come in handy as you start and expand your operations.

SDMDS

Start-up Direct Mentoring Drop-In Session

This event will be hosted by Start-up Direct on the 30th of May, 2018 at Second Home Spitalfields in London and will run from noon till five in the evening. The event aims to reach out to start-ups which are in need of feedback, a guide or people with whom to discuss their ideas. It is an excellent forum for someone who has a plan and is unsure of whether it can materialize into a company that can offer you good returns in the future.

The forum also aims at priding sources of funding as well as support for start-ups in the trade which have been in company for the past few years and are in need of further aid. The excellent thing about this event is that you will get to discuss your ideas with a mentor of your choice for fifty minutes, during which time you will get to acquire a lot of knowledge that will help you stay afloat in the industry.

The keynote speaker at the event is Vicki Leffman who has worked in the food and retail sectors, thus amassing a lot of knowledge about making purchases and controlling stock.
